FUNDING – THE BCWI'S NEW STRUCTURE.

The BCWI’s board of directors has approved a new funding model designed to keep the membership fee for member wineries as low as possible. Combined with revenue from VQA store sales, the model will generate sufficient funds to drive marketing programs and other functions. The BCWI reviewed different sample funding models with auditor Grant Thornton, and carried out extensive consultation with members before selecting the right model to meet the industry’s needs.
