Spotlight on the prize!

Our winners will enjoy a trip through two of our distinctive and beautiful wine regions - the Similkameen Valley and the Southern Okanagan Valley.

Not familiar with the Similkameen? It was recently named by enRoute Magazine as “one of the world’s 5 best wine regions you’ve never heard of.” This little patch of vineyards and orchards in the hot, dry and sunny Similkameen Valley is turning out some stunning grape and fruit wines. Set amongst the dramatic backdrop of craggy mountains, it is not surprising that wine lovers are starting to take notice. The Similkameen Valley is a short drive from anywhere in the Okanagan and features over 10 wineries, cideries and farm markets to discover. Check out the Similkameen Wineries Association page for more information

Central to the weeked are two tickets to the Oliver Osoyoos Winery Association's annual Pig Out!; "pitting local chefs against each other in a barbeque battle. Over 30 wineries will be on hand to provide the wine.

If you are interested in attending Pig Out, please see the OOWA website for details.

In addition to Pig Out, the winners will enjoy some exceptional food and wine during the weekend from our sponsors.
